Event Sign Up: Rosy Gives Back Program
Rosy PTA is proud that we are continuing our Rosy Gives Back Program this year. This program runs in conjunction with
our Popcorn Days. Local charitable organizations are chosen and students are encouraged donate items to them.
When a student donates an item, they can receive a free bag of popcorn during Popcorn Sales
Most of this year's donations will benefit LOVE INC. however; there are certain months where we'll have other organizations as recipients.
The chairperson(s) for this event are responsible for communicating to parents, teachers, students the needs of the
charity that was chosen. Also, they would help with logistics of collecting and distributing items that are donated.
FEBRUARY RECIPIENT:
The Rosy Gives Back for February 19 will be sponsored by the Rosy Mound Junior Girls Scouts MIWRMNDRY program:
MIWRMNDRY is a Girl Scout Council wide Take Action Project to help local communities by collecting and donating personal care items to local shelters, food pantries and social agencies. Rosy Mound Girl Scouts belong to Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore which covers the greater part of Michigan. Girls throughout this council are working to collect items for this project for their own neighborhoods.
Rosy Mound Junior Girl Scouts chose Love Inc as the recipient of their project.
