FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Everything you need to know is in our Winter Registration Brochure.

What is the Rosy Enrichment Program?

The Enrichment Program is a series of after-school classes that are being offered to continue learning experiences for your child.

When will it start?

Fall session:  Oct 19 - Dec 8

Winter Session: Feb 1 - 25

Is this just like NORP?

This Program will not attempt to replace or duplicate any NORA class offerings and it is not indended to replace regular classroom or private lessons.  Our goal is to provide a fun "extra-curricular" learning experience for your child at a value to you.

What Classes Will Be Offered?

We are currently seeking instructors and would like to give the first opportunity to Rosy Mound families. Do you have a craft, skill, or hobby that you would enjoy teaching? Here are just a few of some of the types of classes we would like to offer, but the sky is the limit!

Knitting/Sewing                     Origami

Chess                                     Scrapbooking

Book Clubs                            Dance

How and When Do We Enroll For Classes?

Enrollment will be through MAIL-In REGISTRATION.  Class enrollment will be limited and all classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are a class instructor, your child(ren) will be eligible for early enrollment of up to 4 class offerings per family.

How will it be funded?

The Enrichment Program has been designed to be self-supporting: a minimal fee will be charged for each class. This program is not intended to be a fundraiser, but any proceeds will go to the general PTA budget.

What time and Where Are Classes Held?

At Rosy Mound, after school and usually from 4:00-5:00pm. Students will go directly to the enrichment classroom (media center, art room, gym) immediately following their regular class. Parents should provide a quick snack for their child. Instructors are required to be in the classroom no later than 3:50 pm. Parents are responsible for picking up their child promptly at 5 pm.

What if I want to be an Instructor?

If you are interested in being considered as an instructor, we would love the opportunity to speak with you. Please fill out this Rosy Mound Enrichment Instructor Application and return it to school ASAP!
